Wallet Design

What began as a personal project has evolved into Nat Kaw’s first own commercial product. The design originated in 2015 while abroad in Venice, inspired by the local artists and artisans. Challenged by having limited production resources, supplies were found at a shoe repairer. After a series of paper folding experimentations a design was eloquently resolved so that the wallet did not require stitching. The novel making process has since been exhibited in various Sydney design festivals and taught in workshops. Over the years, owners of early versions provided great feedback while the design and material selection was refined to achieve the final result.

“I’m very grateful for all of the support and appreciation that has come with creating this wallet and I am honoured to share it with you.”
