Living Room Feature Piece

This bespoke design for a living room unit was the centre piece of a complete home renovation. The clients imagination of the piece was communicated using only their verbal expression and body language. With this we visually represented their free flowing and bold nature through a series of exploration drawings. Once the concept sketch was approved, physical and computer modelling was used to consider the piece in space. From these models, large fibreglass moulds were produced for expert concreters to complete one of the most unique forms they have ever produced.

Bespoke Design

This project was completed with SlabsbyDesign under the previous owner, Gina Chapman. It was a beautiful challenge to design a piece where the client had no limiting sense of what was possible. Working with clients on their dream projects is one of my favourite and most fulfilling experiences of the design profession.
